IdleForYou — Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the mobile game IdleForYou ("the game", "we") handles, why, and the choices you have.
1. Summary
- You do not need an account. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Your game progress is stored only on your device. We have no server that receives it.
- The game shows advertising through AppLovin MAX, which processes some device information as described below.
- When something goes wrong in the game, it sends us a short technical error report. It contains no identifiers and nothing about you.
- In the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before personalised advertising, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy choices.
2. Information stored on your device
The game saves your progress (floors, levels, in-game currency, settings such as language and whether you have seen the tips) in the app's private storage on your device. It is never sent to us. You can erase it with Settings → Reset progress, by clearing the app's data, or by uninstalling the game.
3. Advertising — AppLovin MAX
To show ads (for example an optional video that doubles your offline earnings) the game uses AppLovin MAX and the ad networks it works with. They may collect:
- device identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID;
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version);
- IP address, from which an approximate location may be derived;
- ad interactions (which ads were shown, viewed or clicked).
This is used to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and — only where you have consented or where the law allows — to show personalised ads. AppLovin's privacy policy: https://www.applovin.com/privacy/
You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
4. Error reports
When the game hits an error it sends a short report to our own server so we can fix the problem. A report contains only technical information: the error message and where in the game's code it happened, the app version, the device model, the operating-system version and the game's language. It contains no advertising ID or other identifier, and we do not record your IP address with it. Reports are kept for about 90 days.
If the game crashes completely, Google Play may also share an anonymous crash report with us through the Play Console, under the Android settings on your device ("Usage & diagnostics").
5. Legal bases (EU/EEA/UK users)
- Personalised advertising and the related access to your device: your consent, collected through the consent form shown by the game.
- Non-personalised ads and error reports: our legitimate interest in funding the free game and keeping it working.
You may withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Privacy choices; this does not affect processing that happened before.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with AppLovin and its ad partners, who process it under their own terms, and with authorities if required by law. Error reports stay on our own server.
7. International transfers
AppLovin and its partners may process data outside your country, including in the United States, using safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Our error-report server is in the European Union.
8. Retention
Error reports are deleted after about 90 days. Retention by AppLovin follows its own policy.
9. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, contact us and we will help remove it.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we do not hold your data ourselves, most requests are handled by the providers above; email idletower7@gmail.com and we will help you reach them.
11. Changes
We will update this page when the game's data practices change and change the effective date above.
